Changing OAMP Address of Media Components

The following procedure describes how to change the OAMP interface's IP address of a Media Component.

To modify the OAMP IP address of a Media Component:
1. In the device's Web interface, lock the Media Component (see Locking and Unlocking Media Components); the Cluster Manager stops allocating new transcoding sessions to the Media Component and transfers the existing ones to other Media Components.
2. In the device's Web interface, delete the Media Component from the Media Components table (see Deleting Media Components).
3. In the Media Component's Web interface, modify the OAMP address in the IP Interfaces table, and then restart the Media Component with a save-to-flash for your settings to take effect.
4. In the device's Web interface, add the Media Component with the new OAMP address (the name can remain the same) to the Media Components table (see Step 6: Adding Media Component to Cluster Manager).
